How this was produced. A drop here means one shop lowered its own price on a standard 750ml bottle. For each wine we compare what a shop was charging before 2026-10-11 against the lowest we saw from that same shop in the 7 days ending 2026-10-17, and report its largest fall. We do not compare the cheapest price we hold against the cheapest we used to hold: a cheaper shop entering our coverage is not a price cut, and a 1500ml magnum leaving it is not one either - both produced apparent 80-90% falls on wines that had not moved. Sizes other than 750ml, multi-bottle packs and feeds we do not trust for pricing are excluded. Built from offer_observations and NOT from price_history, which holds one row per wine per day with the first write winning and would understate movement without saying so. A fall of more than 50% is printed only if other shops' prices for the same wine support it; where they do not, the page is usually holding more than one wine, and we leave it out rather than claim a cut. We publish no ratings or scores.
